Two of the lowest scoring teams in baseball will meet as the Cleveland Guardians take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Both offenses are struggling and Pittsburgh has failed to score 5 runs in eight consecutive games, meanwhile the Guardians have scored a combined 10 runs in their previous 4 games. Relief pitcher Xzavion Curry will start for Cleveland however the Guardians bullpen is solid (second lowest ERA in MLB). Quinn Priester will be making his MLB debut and the 22 year old is considered the Pirates top pitching prospect. This is a big total for these offenses and I don't believe this pitching matchup is quite as scary as it appears, especially at PNC Park which is arguably the most pitcher friendly stadium there is.
