The Reds have had all of Graham Ashcraft’s last six starts go over, in which he recorded a 12.99 ERA. On the other hand, the Reds have been hitting very well in this series and against left handed pitching, so I expect that to continue against Clayton Kershaw today. The over has been the play for both Reds and Dodgers lately. Take it today at +105.

The first two games have been exciting to say the least. There was 17 runs in the first game and 14 runs in the second. Clayton Kershaw has struggled on the road as he as allowed at least four runs in three of his last four starts on the road. On the other side, Reds starter Graham Ashcraft has been terrible. Ashcraft has a 12.99 ERA (not a typo) in his last six starts. These offenses should stay hot as the game explodes over the total.

First game of day and the suddenly very interesting Reds -- Elly De La Cruz already might be my favorite non-Chicago player -- are getting this terrific price at home on the runline? Have to do it, even though Cincy starter Graham Ashcraft has been truly lousy of late. He was very good in the early going, though. It's Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, and he's obviously capable of seven shutout innings even against that lineup in that ballpark but does have an ERA of 4.71 away compared to 1.45 at home. No Will Smith in the lineup for LA, and the team is around .500 without him this year and WAY over .500 with. His absence was the final straw for me here.
