I was on the fence on the side here -- are the Mariners devastated after that Game 1 loss? Or did the day off in between help them? Don't know. But Luis Castillo vs. Framber Valdez? Have to go Under especially as both bullpens will be fully available with the day off as well. I haven't gotten a playoff game wrong yet. Which means certain doom here. I won't bother with a Guardians-Yankees pick because that's most likely going to be rained out.

Luis Castillo was straight up dominant in his playoff start against the Blue Jays, and the Mariners oddly haven’t faced the Astros since before the trade deadline, so the Astros haven’t seen him. Framber Valdez had an incredible quality start streak, but then hasn’t pitched a quality start in any of his last three outings. He struggled pretty hard in the postseason last year allowing 17 earned runs in 19.2 IP as well. The Mariners should come out swinging like they have every game this postseason, I don’t think the momentum of the last game will bother them. I also don’t think the Mariners will manage their bullpen like they did in Game 1, so I like the Mariners behind their ace.
