The Dodgers have one more game tonight to finish off this run then they have an off day tomorrow so Dave Roberts will be able to empty out his bullpen. The Padres on the other hand have a series against the Giants starting tomorrow. The Dodgers aren’t resting anybody and they have now won 16 of the last 18 games between these teams. They are 22-4 in their last 26 games and I think they will put together a good showing on Sunday Night baseball. I like the Dodgers at home.

Were the Dodgers annoyed at all the attention on the Padres after the trade deadline? Perhaps. Perhaps they are just that much better. The lead in the NL West is now 14 1/2 games. The Dodgers are 7-2 this season against the Padres, having outscored them 51-18. They've won 14 of their last 15 over the Padres in Dodger Stadium, too. Tyler Anderson takes the mound for the home team and they are 16-4 in his starts this season. He shut the Padres down last time out, too. More than anything, though, we'll ride the Dodgers until the Padres show us any reason to pick differently.

San Diego RHP Yu Darvish has been better on the road of late but still owns a 4.50 ERA and gave up five earned runs the last time he faced the Dodgers. Los Angeles LHP Tyler Anderson has a 2.59 home ERA, with opponents hitting .216 at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles' lineup is just rolling.
