Not a lot to love today, but this Yankees-Red Sox series seems easy. New York is starting an established big-league guy on the mound and the Sox are starting some oddly named overmatched rookie thus far. Tonight that means Jordan Montgomery (3-2, 3.19 ERA) vs. Kutter Crawford (2-2, 5.04), who with that name frankly had no choice but to become a baseball player. Or a villainous surgeon. This should be the first game of the series where the Yanks have both Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton in the lineup. Sounds like Rafael Devers will be out tonight for the Sox after he left Friday's game with back trouble.

The Yankees have been dominating this series while giving their players days off. Rafael Devers will also be out of the lineup for the Red Sox today. Kutter Crawford will get the bulk of the innings but the Red Sox bullpen behind him is in bad shape. Jordan Montgomery is very consistent and the Yankees bullpen behind him is rested.
