The Blue Jays have been the best team in the league at hitting lefties in the past month but Jordan Montgomery had success against them in May. I thought this game was pretty even in the first place but the Blue Jays are also sitting Bo Bichette. The Yankees bullpen should still have everyone available. Ross Stripling has only allowed two hits in his past 11 innings, and the Yankees were barely able to score against the Rays. However, they continue to win despite constantly thinking they’re due to lose. I like the Yankees in Game 1.

Ross Stripling baffled Tigers and Royals hitters in his last two starts, allowing one hit and no runs in each. The Blue Jays won both, but they lost his previous three starts, one of which was at home to the Yankees and Jordan Montgomery. Stripling is in a groove, but the red-hot Yankees have won their last seven. They’ve also won Montgomery’s last four starts. Take the Yankees to win.
