Think I have to take this simply as Caesars still has it at -165 and most other sites at -185. This is via one of my favorite statistical sites that had gone dark for a while but apparently is active again: The Dodgers are 16-0 since 2021 off a loss as a favorite of more than -120 in which they scored fewer than two runs, had six or fewer hits and six or more strikeouts. All those trends were true from yesterday's loss on the South Side. LA also has the pitching edge here in Tony Gonsolin (6-0, 1.59) against Johnny Cueto (0-2, 2.92). Cueto was great his first few outings but has been regressing. Andrew Vaughn is sitting for the Sox and he had been 7-for-17 with two doubles, two runs, an RBI and a walk in his past four. Chicago is 2-6 in its past eight as a home dog.
