    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    John's Analysis:

I like the Giants to avoid the sweep today and I think they will be able to do that against the Reds pitching staff today. Tyler Mahle is coming off his worst start of the season and for whatever reason Mahle struggles at home. The Reds bullpen is also completely worked, Alexis Diaz will be unavailable and Tony Santillan most likely will be unavailable too after throwing 28 pitches yesterday. The Giants also dominated the game yesterday, they were just unable to get runs across. They had 12 hits but scored just 2 runs and went 3 for 16 with RISP. The Reds had only 5 hits and went 1 for 2 with RISP but won 3-2. I like the Giants to avoid the sweep today.
