As John Bollman said, the A's have owned the Tigers for years, but getting Detroit at home at basically even money (-105) on the runline is too good to pass up (ideally, Oakland wins by a run so both John and I win). The Tigers do get back starting shortstop Niko Goodrum from the injured list. Wily Peralta has a 1.93 ERA in four home starts, while Oakland's James Kaprielian has an ERA near 5.00 on the road and at night.

There are solid hitting conditions in Detroit on Wednesday, with the wind blowing out, so I’ll grab the over. A’s starter James Kaprielian has a 5.12 ERA and 1.33 WHIP since the All-Star break, and struggles in night games and on the road. Tigers starter Wily Peralta has also had trouble since the break, with a 4.75 ERA and has allowed 30 hits and seven walks in his last five starts. The A’s offense looked good Tuesday and I think the Tigers get on the board a bit more in this one.
