Yankees vs. Twins odds, lines: Advanced computer model reveals picks for April 26, 2023, matchup

SportsLine's Projection Model has generated picks for Wednesday's matchup between the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins

By@SportsLineUpdated: Apr 26, 2023 1:38PM UTC . 3 min read

The Minnesota Twins will try to sweep the New York Yankees for the first time since 1991 when they square off on Wednesday afternoon. Minnesota already secured a series win over New York for the first time since 2001 with a 6-1 win on Monday and a 6-2 win on Tuesday. The Twins are three games ahead of Cleveland for first place in the American League Central.

The game is slated to begin at 1:10 p.m. ET from Target Field in Minneapolis. The Twins are -120 on the money line (risk $120 to win $100) in the latest Twins vs. Yankees odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total runs scored is 8 (see the latest lines for every game on our MLB odds page).

Before making any Yankees vs. Twins picks, you NEED to see the latest MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times. It went 331-285 on top-rated MLB money-line picks (+357) over the past two seasons, and it is on a 26-21 run dating back to the end of last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen profitable returns!

The model knows Twins right fielder Max Kepler had three hits and scored three runs in Monday's 6-1 win to open the series. Rookie third baseman Jose Miranda leads Minnesota with a team-high 21 hits, while designated hitter Byron Buxton has scored a team-best 14 runs and driven in 10 runs. New York starting pitcher Domingo German allowed four earned runs for the second time this season in his last start.

The model also knows Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo leads New York with a .286 batting average, five home runs and 11 RBI. Star outfielder Aaron Judge has a team-high six home runs, while third baseman DJ LeMahieu is batting .296. Minnesota pitcher Kenta Maeda is winless in his first three starts of the season, exiting his most recent start with an ankle injury after being struck by a comebacker.

Now, it has set its sights on Twins vs. Yankees. We can tell you the model is leaning Over on the total, projecting 8.5 combined runs, and it also says one side of the money line has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks of your own.
