Week 6 UFL predictions, picks: Pro football spread betting expert reveals early best bets for Week 6 action

The NFL Draft over the weekend was full of surprises, including Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders falling to the fifth round. The UFL had its share of surprises as well, with all four favorites falling to their opponents, including the defending champion Birmingham Stallions losing to the previously winless Memphis Showboats on Friday.

That result has a bit of a caveat, as the Showboats hit one big play from new starting quarterback Dresser Winn and then returned a missed field goal prior to halftime 108 yards for a touchdown, representing the bulk of their scoring prior to the win in overtime. As a result, we shouldn't get too excited about the Showboats moving forward, but showing the ability to hit a big play every once in a while is at least an improvement for the 1-4 Memphis team.

The Stallions appear to be in major trouble after losing just four games (including playoffs) in their first three years of existence, as only one of their three wins can qualify as impressive. They'll at least have a soft landing spot this week as they host the 1-4 San Antonio Brahmas, fresh off losing 27-3 in their home opener to what had previously been a pretty bad Houston Roughnecks team. The Stallions are 9.5-point favorites at DraftKings in early UFL odds.

There are four games on the Week 6 UFL schedule, with arguably the top four teams playing each other for the second week in a row as the Arlington Renegades open the week against the Battlehawks in St. Louis while the Michigan Panthers host the DC Defenders on Sunday.
