Tuesday, June 27 MLB player props, odds, trends: Bettors bullish on Yankees' Anthony Rizzo vs. Athletics, fading Rockies' Connor Seabold vs. Dodgers

The New York Yankees aren't scoring much without the injured Aaron Judge, but have won two straight games and four of six as they open a road trip in Oakland on Tuesday night. The most-wagered player prop on the DraftKings MLB board is New York's Anthony Rizzo Over 1.5 Combined Hits, Runs and RBI at -135. The Yankees have dominated this series of late, winning 14 of the past 19 and are -140 favorites.

New York is 13-16 without Judge and averaging 3.3 runs per game without No. 99. Rizzo has reached base in each of his past 12 games, marking his second-longest on-base streak this season behind a 15-game streak from May 1-17. Rizzo has reached base in 12 of 23 plate appearances over his last six games with seven hits, five walks and a HBP for a .522 on-base percentage.

Rizzo and the Yankees will face A's starter Paul Blackburn (0-0, 4.21 ERA), a right-hander. Rizzo is hitting .244 off right-handers, while his .388 batting average and .474 OBP are the highest vs. left-handed pitchers among all MLB left-handed hitters this year. That's backward, really, because Rizzo bats left. He obviously could see a lefty reliever and is batting .375 (9-for-24) with six runs and three RBI in his last six games vs. Oakland. Against Blackburn, Rizzo is 1-for-3 with a solo homer.

The No. 2 player prop tonight is a fade of Rockies starting pitcher Connor Seabold (1-3, 5.88 ERA) at Over 3.5 Earned Runs (-120) allowed at home in the thin air of Coors Field vs. the Dodgers, the second-highest scoring team in the National League.

Seabold was obliterated for nine runs over three innings last time out in Atlanta, but prior to that had pitched fairly well this year, his first with Colorado. At home, he's 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA in 29.1 innings. Seabold has never started against the Dodgers but allowed four runs on five hits in three innings of relief against them on April 3 in Los Angeles. That was his Rockies debut. Freddie Freeman is 2-for-2 off Seabold.

• Orioles' Tyler Wells Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-130) vs. Cincinnati: Wells has 88 strikeouts in his 15 appearances spanning 86.2 innings and has topped 5.5 in seven of his past eight. He has never faced the Reds.
