Tuesday, June 13 MLB player props, odds: Phillies' Kyle Schwarber, Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. taking heaviest home run action Tuesday at sportsbook

It's a full 15-game slate in MLB on Tuesday, with the only apparent weather concern coming from Wrigley Field with the Cubs set to open a series against the Pirates. A former Cub is taking the heaviest MLB player prop action of anyone in Tuesday's slate at DraftKings, and that's Philadelphia's Kyle Schwarber Over 0.5 home runs at +310 in Arizona. Toronto's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 0.5 homers at +370 (in Baltimore) is also quite popular.

Schwarber is the definition of a three-outcome hitter: Homer, strikeout or walk. The lefty slugger is hitting just .172 with 80 strikeouts in 232 at-bats, but has 17 homers and 49 walks. Schwarber hasn't gone yard since last Friday against the Dodgers. Of his 64 hits during the month of June over the past three years, 50% are home runs. Schwarber won the NL Player of the Month Award in each of the past two Junes, last year with the Phillies and in 2021 with the Nationals.

Ten of Schwarber's 17 homers this year have come on the road, and the Phillies play the second game of their series in the desert Tuesday with Zach Davies (1-1, 4.68 ERA) on the mound. In five starts this year, he has surrendered two homers. Schwarber is 6-for-32 off Davies with four homers.

When Guerrero Jr. hit .311 with 48 homers and 111 RBI in 2021 to finish as the AL MVP runner-up, I thought he'd win a Triple Crown someday, but Guerrero hasn't gotten back to that level since. He was very good if not great last year and is batting .283 with nine homers this year in 251 at-bats. Guerrero hasn't gone yard since June 4. The Jays renovated Rogers Centre over the winter, bringing in the fences to make it more hitter-friendly, but all nine of Guerrero's homers are on the road.

Dean Kremer (6-3, 4.89 ERA) starts on the hill for the Orioles. He has yielded 12 homers in his 13 starts. Guerrero is 6-for-19 off him with four homers.
