Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the NBA, college basketball, NASCAR and the NHL for Sunday, March 21.

Coach starts things off with two SportsLine Plays of the Day, and the first comes in the NHL: the Panthers (+120) to beat the Lightning (4 p.m. ET start). "The Panthers are the only team to beat the Lightning not once, but twice in regulation this season," he says. "They're also 3-1 on the road this year as an underdog."

The other comes in the NBA: the Pelicans (+5.5) against the Nuggets (3 p.m. ET). "The Pelicans are 7-0 against the spread, 13 points a game on the road better with one day of rest or more coming off a loss," he says.

Two of McClure's three picks come in the NCAA Tournament. The first is Texas Tech (-1.5) against Arkansas (6:10 p.m. ET). "The only reason that Arkansas could hang in this game here, and the reason why the line is where it is, is they do have a slight edge when it comes to rebounding, but I think Texas Tech is the better team," he says.

He also likes Villanova (-5.5) against North Texas (8:45 p.m. ET). "It's going to be a slow, defensive battle where I think ultimately the talent is going to win out and (Villanova) is going to pull away," McClure says.

McClure concludes his picks in NASCAR with Kyle Busch (+145) over Kevin Harvick in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 (3 p.m. ET). "This should be closer to +118-120, so give me Kyle Busch," he says.

Both of Hartstein's picks are in the NCAA Tournament, with the first being Illinois (-7) over Loyola Chicago (12:10 p.m. ET). "(Loyola is) not going to dominate the glass against Illinois," he says. "Illinois is so deep (and) has too much."

Hartstein concludes his picks with Oral Roberts (+8.5) against Florida (7:45 p.m. ET). "They've got the talent," he says. "I think Oral Roberts hangs around. Way too many points."
