Today's top picks: Rams vs. Bucs among best bets, plus more 2022 NFL Playoffs and college basketball picks for Thursday

Coach provides a recap of a stellar Wednesday for the crew, which hit six of its seven individual picks, before the experts jump into the story lines. The weather at Lambeau Field is going to be among the things bettors will want to follow in this weekend's 2022 NFL Playoffs. 

Allan is all over the 2022 NFL Divisional Round this week. He points out that the chilly temperatures could have a major affect on the total (48.5) on the Packers vs. 49ers matchup. There have been 17 games in Green Bay since 1960 with a game-time temperature of 10 degrees or lower. All 17 came in at 45 or fewer points. Forecasts peg this Saturday's temperature at zero degrees.     

Larry also has some key info on the Rams vs. Bucs showdown and says is you like Rams +3, you need to jump on it now. The line is moving with Tampa Bay linemen Tristan Wirfs and Ryan Jensen missing practice this week. With Von Miller, Leonard Floyd and Aaron Donald on the L.A. side, that's not good news for the Bucs.

Coach gives a college basketball matchup as the SportsLine Play of the Day, with Arizona -9.5 at Stanford at 11 p.m. ET.

Mike jumps in with an NFL teaser, taking Rams +9 against Tampa Bay and Green Bay -120 on the moneyline over San Francisco. "This pass rush from the Rams is no joke," McClure says. "They're going to put a lot of pressure on Tom Brady, and he doesn't have Chris Godwin there to kind of bail him out around the line. It's going to be a lot of dumping passes to the backs."

Allan also is going with the Rams +3, adding that the Bucs defense is going to have trouble of its own. Tampa Bay relies heavily on blitzes, and "Matthew Stafford against the blitz is lethal, son," Bell says. He has 17 TDs and just one interception against blitzes, while throwing 16 picks when not facing extra rushers.

Justin jumps in with two college basketball picks. First, he going with FIU +2.5 at home against Marshall, with his model showing this closer to a pick'em. "Marshall is really stumbling," Perri says, pointing out that the Herd has covered just once in its past 10 games. "It's pretty gruesome for them right now."

Perri also likes Saint Louis -3 against UMass. He sees this as closer to a six-point game, with the Minutemen losing to lesser teams recently by double digits.

The Maestro is sticking with the NFL, but he's looking at the Bengals vs. Titans matchup in Nashville. Larry is taking the Titans -3.5 and also -2.5 for the first half. He sees a letdown for Bengals fans this week after a huge celebration following their first playoff win in 31 years.

"The Titans are off a bye, and (coach Mike) Vrabel is 4-0 against the number off a bye, winning each game by at least two touchdowns," Hartstein says. 

"If you have a healthy Derrick Henry, and Julio (Jones) and A.J. Brown in the lineup, this is a top-three offense in the NFL," he adds. "I like the Titans by a touchdown, and I really love them in the first half, as well."
