Today's picks: Why UCLA will cover vs. Oregon, plus more college football, NFL and CFL best bets for Friday, Oct. 21

Emory's got all sorts of college football plays, as usual. First, for Friday's games, he's taking Princeton +1.5 against Harvard (7:00 p.m. ET). "[Princeton's] defense is going to make Harvard play a one-dimensional game," he says. He's also playing Over 58.5 in UAB vs. Western Kentucky (8:00 p.m. ET). "Both offenses can score in different ways."

Chip's playing that game too. He's on Western Kentucky -1.5, arguing that the home team has an advantage in what he expects to be a slugfest. 

Allan's on a different Friday night game. He's playing Tulsa Second Half Team Total Over 16.5 in their game at Temple (7:30 p.m. ET). "[Tulsa] will push the tempo there," Allan says. 

Emory's playing the Tulsa-Temple game too. He's parlaying Tulsa -13 and Tulsa Over 52 in what projects to be a lopsided game. He's also locking in another parlay for some Friday night FCS action. LIU and Wagner are playing at 7:00 p.m. ET, and Emory's taking Long Island -3 and Under 55. "Both teams are struggling on offense," he says. 

In the CFL, Emory's on Ottawa +6 vs. Hamilton (7:00 p.m. ET). He's also playing Over 49 for the game, citing how Ottawa's offense has excelled since the team replaced its head coach. 

For Saturday's CFB action, Chip's taking UCLA +6.5 in their marquee matchup with Oregon (3:30 p.m. ET). "I think this is going to be one-possession all the way through," he says. Chip's also playing Under 68 in Ole Miss vs. LSU (3:30 p.m. ET). He expects this to be a run-heavy game with both teams focused on maintaining control. "The cumulitive score, when it's Nick Saban's Alabama vs. Mississippi State and Mike Leach, is 90-9," Chip says. So yeah, he's taking Alabama -21 (7:00 p.m. ET). Chip's last play is Kansas State +3.5 vs. TCU (8:00 p.m. ET). He's expecting the other shoe to drop at some point soon for TCU, and he like the Wildcats to make them pay.

Allan closes the show with two picks. He also knows just how much hurt Nick Saban's Crimson Tide has put on Mike Leach, so he's taking Under 61 in that game. And for Sunday's NFL action, he's playing the Titans -2.5 vs. the Colts (1:00 p.m. ET). "Mike Vrabel's 8-0 straight up and 8-0 against the spread when coming off a regular-season bye," he says.
