SportsLine's proven experts share their favorite bets on the Early Edge podcast for Tuesday, March 22
Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Larry Hartstein, Allie O'Neill and Zack Cimini on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for college basketball and the NHL for Tuesday, March 22, and you can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.
Coach starts things off with two SportsLine plays of the day, both in college basketball. The first is Middle Tennessee State (-1.5) to cover against Abilene Christian (9 p.m. ET). "Middle Tennessee has been an absolute covering beast this year as a favorite," he says. "How about 82 percent? How about 73 percent against-the-spread at neutral- or road-site games?"
The other play is UTEP (-4) to cover against Southern Utah (9 p.m. ET). "UTEP has covered in four of its last five games," Coach says.
O'Neill has one play from the NHL: Over 6 goals in the Golden Knights-Jets game (8 p.m. ET). "Both of [the previous matchups] went Over, and one of those was just last week, in Winnipeg, and the Jets won, 7-3," she says.
Cimini has one college basketball play: St. Bonaventure (+3.5) to cover against Virginia (7 p.m. ET). "The Bonnies are playing very well," he says. He adds, "They are shooting the ball way above what we saw in conference play."
Hartstein closes out the show with a play from Thursday's Sweet 16 round in the NCAA Tournament: Arkansas (+9) to cover against Gonzaga (7:09 p.m. ET). "[The Razorbacks] have not played their best game," he says. "I love their coach, and I love them as an underdog, 4-0 in their last four as a dog. Gonzaga has not covered any of its last four in the NCAA Tournament because they're always inflated."
