Rams vs. Seahawks betting preview: Odds, picks, props, trends, injuries, weather and more for Week 16 Thursday Night Football

It's quite possibly the most important game of the 2025 NFL regular season in the penultimate Thursday Night Football matchup, as the Los Angeles Rams (11-3) visit the Seattle Seahawks (11-3). Solo first place in the NFC West and quite likely the conference's top seed and lone first-round playoff bye are on the line. The visitors are -1 with a total of 42.5 for the 8:15 ET kick on Prime Video.

Los Angeles clinched the NFC's first playoff spot with Sunday's 41-34 home win over Detroit, and QB Matthew Stafford got a boost in his bid for a first-ever regular-season MVP Award, as he's now the clear -300 favorite. Even with an early season win over Seattle already in the bag, the Rams can't clinch anything further with a win on Thursday. But clearly that sweep would put them in complete control of the division and for the NFC's top seed.

The SportsLine Projection Model forecasts L.A. as the NFC's No. 1 seed with 13.0 wins, currently with a 56.0% shot at the division with a victory that rises to 88.7% with a win and drops to 23.4% with a loss. The team closes at Atlanta and vs. Arizona, which certainly should be wins. DraftKings lists the Rams at -160 for the division and -155 for the NFC's top seed.

Seattle is +200 and +205, respectively, for those. So as you can see, the books expect the West winner to earn that bye, as do I. The Seahawks close at Carolina with a tricky 1 p.m. ET kickoff and then at San Francisco -- so clearly a much tougher finish than L.A. The model gives Seattle a 31.4% shot at the division that rises to 58.9% with a win and craters to 3.0% with a loss. The team hasn't even clinched a playoff spot yet but will with a win or tie OR Detroit home loss or tie Sunday vs. Pittsburgh.
