The Florida Panthers saw their eight-game road winning streak end in their 5-2 loss at Vegas in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, but they're are 3-0 in Game 2s this postseason and taking substantial action tonight at BetMGM back in Sin City. It's an 8 p.m. ET puck drop on TNT and the Golden Knights are 3-0 all-time in series they lead 2-0. The most-wagered player prop thus far is on Florida winger Sam Bennett. At +120 on the money line, Florida is taking 63% of the bets and 63% the of money, similar numbers all around to Game 1. On the total of 6 goals (the opener closed at 5.5), 41% of the bets and 52% of the money are on the Under.

Saturday's victory was the whopping ninth comeback win of these playoffs for Vegas. Adin Hill made 33 saves in his career Stanley Cup debut, including a spectacular stop of Florida's Nick Cousins to keep the game tied in the opening minute of the second period.

The Golden Knights got goals from Jonathan Marchessault, Shea Theodore and Reilly Smith, members of the 2017-18 expansion team that also reached the Stanley Cup Final (but lost), plus Zach Whitecloud and Mark Stone to offset goals by Florida's Eric Staal and Anthony Duclair. Marchessault is tied with William Karlsson for the Vegas lead with 10 goals this postseason.

Meanwhile, Florida enters its sixth Stanley Cup Final game in search of its first victory in the championship series. The team was swept in its first Final in 1996 and then lost this year's Game 1. Two other clubs have lost at least their first five contests in the Final and both those clubs went on to win the Cup. St. Louis stopped an 0-12 run with a Game 2 victory in 2019 (against Boston, coached by current Knights coach Bruce Cassidy), and Washington stopped an 0-5 stretch with a Game 2 win in Las Vegas in 2018.

The loser of Game 1 in a best-of-seven Stanley Cup Final has rallied to win the championship 20 times, including in three straight years from 2018 to 2020. Teams with a 2-0 series lead in a best-of-seven Stanley Cup Final have an all-time series record of 48-5. The last team to rally from down 2-0 to win the Cup was Boston in 2011. In 2023, teams are 5-1 in series after winning the first two games, with Florida (2-0) and Vegas (1-0) accounting for three of those victories.

Vegas was -130 to win the series ahead of Game 1 and is now -225, while Florida has gone from +110 to +175, with 81% of the money on the Panthers.

The most-bet player prop for Monday's game is on Florida's Bennett to have at least five shots on goal at +210. The center had three shots and was held without a point in Game 1. Other popular props: the Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk as an anytime goalscorer (+120) and first goal scorer (+900); and the Knights' Marchessault as the first goal scorer (+1000), and Jack Eichel as first goal scorer (+900). Florida's Eric Staal had the first goal in Game 1.

Despite the Game 1 loss and the fact his team is a sizable series underdog, Florida netminder Sergei Bobrovsky remains the +275 favorite for the Conn Smythe, just ahead of Eichel (+325).
