NFL Week 7 Vegas contest picks: Top spread selections from Las Vegas contest expert

SportsLine NFL expert Brady Kannon shares his top spread plays for multiple Las Vegas betting contests

Week 7 vaults us into the second third of the 2025 NFL season. Our Las Vegas Football Contest Show (www.FootballContestShow.com) entries in both Circa Sports Million and the Westgate SuperContest are currently in the top third (33%) of the standings. I guess that means we are on a good pace through the first six weeks of the campaign.

Our record is an even 15-15 out of a possible 30 points. While this record is not outstanding, we are well above average versus the contest field due to how poorly the consensus plays have performed to this point in the season. The top-five plays last week in the SuperContest broke the trend by going 4-1, but the trend continued in Circa Sports Million with another 2-3 week for the five most selected sides. Overall, the two contests combined, the consensus picks are 20-39-1 (34%).

Roughly 4,400 entries remain in Circa Survivor. Over 75% of the field has been eliminated through the first third of the season. Our Football Contest Show entries were finished off in Week 5, a week that saw nearly 8,000 entries eliminated in the local Survivor contests. Thinking back, maybe we should have decided to use some of the teams like the Lions, Chiefs, Packers, etc. that will have games on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Circa Survivor turns these holiday slates into their own separate weeks, so having as many teams available during those unique weeks is important. This makes Circa Survivor specifically, especially challenging because of this balancing act – saving teams for the holidays versus using them earlier in the season when a good situation presents itself.

This week, the Chiefs, Lions, Packers, and Broncos, are all some of the bigger favorites on the card. Each of these teams has a holiday game on either Christmas or Thanksgiving – or both. How many Circa Survivor players will choose to use these teams now and how many will continue to save them for later? And if you are saving all of them, who do you use this week? The Patriots on the road at Tennessee? The Bears at home hosting the Saints? Yes, Survivor is hard. As exhilarating as it is to be alive and in the running for millions of dollars, it does sometimes feel like a bit of a relief to no longer have to worry about these predicaments.
