Week 4 ended up being relatively tame for NFL survivor pools, with the five most popular teams in the Circa Survivor earning wins. Four of those five were no-sweat blowouts, with only the Bills having to battle in the fourth quarter against the Saints despite that game having the biggest spread of the season thus far.

The two biggest losers were the Chargers, who fell to the Giants thanks in part to two long interception returns from New York, and the Packers, who eliminated backers in the Circa due to tying the Cowboys, while other contests may have allowed Green Bay cards to move on if the rules state your team must lose in order to be eliminated rather than must win to advance.

Now attention moves to Week 5, where we see the biggest favorite of the week on the road as the Lions travel to Cincinnati to take on a beat-down Bengals team. In 20 gameweek formats, the Lions are unlikely to be popular by virtue of playing on both holiday standalone slates, and plenty of others have burned the Bills in one of the last two weeks. That means many could see their top choice come down to backing the Cardinals hosting the Titans or the Colts hosting the Raiders.

We'll get into that decision below as we rank all the usable options for survivor pools this week. We'll break down the 18,656-entry Circa Survivor pool and then give out our best plays for both large and small pool participants for Week 5.
