NFL Week 4 teasers: Proven NFL expert ranks top teaser options, passes on Saints vs. Vikings

Larry Hartstein, who entered 2022 up more than 37 units on his NFL side picks for SportsLine, shares his teaser of the week.

My awful start on teasers continued in Week 3 as I fell to 0-3 (-3.4 units). The Falcons covered their 6-point teaser leg easily, winning outright in Seattle, but the Chiefs missed a chip-shot field goal to go up 7 and ultimately lost to the Colts as sizable favorites.

That's the bad news. The good news is I have found a Week 4 teaser that should get us up off the mat.

It does not include teasing the Saints from +2.5 to +8.5 for their London game versus the Vikings.

New Orleans listed 13 players on its Wednesday injury report. Jameis Winston, playing with four fractures in his back, has thrown five interceptions and taken 11 sacks while posting a 79.5 passer rating. Through the first three games, the Saints have scored a total of 13 points before the fourth quarter.

The Vikings are simply healthier. They're riding the momentum of a thrilling comeback win. And with their balanced attack and innovative coach, they should score in the 20s versus New Orleans' admittedly stout defense. That might be enough to bust a Saints' teaser leg.

Here are three teaser legs I really like, along with my official play. Good luck!
