NFL Week 11 best bets: Top five spread picks for premier NFL betting competition from proven expert

A 4-1 Week 9 followed by a 5-0 Week 10 has put me back in the race to cash in the Circa Million, sitting tied for 250th out of nearly 6,000 entries. As with almost all undefeated weeks, we had to rely on a bit of luck, including the Jets scoring two special teams touchdowns in the first quarter to control their matchup against the Browns. On the other hand, backing the Saints and Dolphins as big underdogs proved to never be a sweat as both teams won in dominant fashion, while the Patriots and Ravens were able to cover in relatively close games.

I also had a successful week on SportsLine, going 14-3 on picks Sunday and Monday, then following it up with two wins this past Thursday as the Patriots covered and held Breece Hall Under his rushing total. But will it continue with my contest picks? We have three games with 3-point spreads and another with 7-point spread, and while I've played some 7-point lines here and there throughout the season and risked a potential push (which is a negative outcome in a contest where you need to hit on more than 60% of your picks to cash), I haven't played a 3-point line since cashing with the Jets in Week 1.
