NFL Week 10 teasers: Proven NFL expert ranks top teaser plays, but 49ers aren't among best options

In Week 8, we needed a pair of garbage-time touchdowns to cover both legs of our Teaser of the Week. Last week, both legs didn't need to be teased at all, as the Seahawks won by 10 as short underdogs, while the Bengals won by 21 as 7.5-point favorites. The final obvious play that we avoided came through as well as the Jaguars won outright, while our two under-the-radar plays both failed, with the Chiefs only winning by three points and the Saints not even able to keep their game with the Ravens within nine points.

This week, there are only two clear options that make the cut as teaser options to consider, but if you want to get a little spicy, you can consider some of the 6- and 7-point favorites and just hope they win outright. One team I don't think you can play is the Bills, who still haven't announced anything about Josh Allen's injury as of Tuesday afternoon.

I'm also not keen on backing the 49ers, even though you would get to back a good coach coming out of a bye week. I think the overall spread for that game is inflated, and that'll even more so be the case if it gets over the key number of 7 and enters the window of lines you'd be looking to tease. The Chargers sure know how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory over the last few years, but they're also talented enough to hang with any team in the league when things are clicking.
