NFL Week 10 survivor pool picks: Panthers could be consensus play despite hefty risk

Last week was a great one for those who stuck to the plan and backed the consensus Rams, who had no trouble at all taking down the Saints. It was a different story for those who pivoted to the Packers, a team favored by nearly two touchdowns who could not move the ball at home against the Panthers, or the Lions, who struggled to slow down J.J. McCarthy and Co. while dealing with injuries on their offensive line. Enough people had those two teams that the Circa Survivor competition is now below 10% of the starting number of entries, with most getting by with either the Rams or Chargers.

Week 10 offers one big home favorite in the Thursday Night Football matchup as the Broncos host a Raiders team that nearly beat the Jaguars the previous week. The Bills and Lions are also big road favorites who could be options for some survivors. However, considering that those still alive have had to survive for nine weeks, options may be starting to dwindle, and it's possible some will find themselves choosing between options like the Bears hosting the Giants or the Panthers hosting the Saints.
