NFL Week 10 best bets: Top five spread picks for premier NFL betting competition from proven expert

The underdogs finally fought back in Week 9, and that led to a 4-1 week in the contest where my only miss was the most popular play in the contest and my only favorite, with the Lions losing outright as big favorites against the Vikings. That puts me at 25-20 at the halfway point and still needing to make up ground to get above the 60% success rate that will put the cash line in play.

Moving on to Week 10, the overall question is will underdogs continue to be the value play, will chalk revert to dominating like it did the previous two weeks, or will we get back to around an even split? I see the 'dogs as typically being the way to go this week, and of the eight picks I considered for my contest card, only two were laying points.
