    Fantasy Outlook in Denver:

Hamler is a big-play speed demon who also can be a threat as a returner for fantasy leaguers who play in formats that reward individual stats in those regards. He projects to be more of an effective fantasy option as a Best Ball and DFS target. Consistency and durability could be concerns.

Hamler averaged 18 yards per catch in 2018 and caught nine TD passes in 2019. He may conjure up some comparisons to Percy Harvin as a fantasy player. That sort of profile could mean while he is capable of having some big games, he will not be a reliable fantasy performer, especially as the projected third WR in Denver.

There may be a few times a year where Hamlin excites you with his incredible abilities to take the top off a defense and zip past secondaries. But while he could sometimes match Harvin's previous levels of production, there also may be concerns that he could be the next Tavon Austin.

Denver was not the ideal fantasy landing spot for Hamler. From a pure football perspective, he has a clear niche role as a downfield specialist. But Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Noah Fant should all be ahead of him in the pecking order for regular targets. The Broncos will need him to simply fly past defenders, and that means he will be completely unreliable for fantasy purposes.

Hamler may go undrafted in many seasonal fantasy leagues and will only be a depth piece for dynasty leaguers. It is difficult to envision him ever becoming a fantasy starter. But now the Broncos have an incredibly deep and diverse pass-catching crew that elevates the appeal of QB Drew Lock, especially in dynasty and two QB formats.
