MLB parlay picks for June 27: SportsLine expert offers his picks, predictions for Friday's games
Eric Cohen offers a four-leg MLB Same Game Parlay Plus for the games on Friday, June 27th
The funny thing about sports betting is some days you feel like you're seeing the board well and others not so much. There's can be no rhyme or reason to it. Sadly, yesterday was one of those days where I was on the wrong end of things. My picks in this column were lousy. But with a 15 game slate tonight, I'm ready to bounce back and make us some money. What I'm looking for in tonight's picks is a team to win plus their hottest hitter to bet on. Here's what I've come up with:
Friday, June 27th MLB SGPx
- Tampa Bay ML + Brandon Lowe 2+ H+R+RBI
- Milwaukee ML + Christian Yelich 2+ H+R+RBI
- SGPx odds: +407 (odds subject to change)
Tampa Bay ML + Brandon Lowe 2+ H+R+RBI
The Rays, despite being essentially home less in a minor league ballpark, have been on fire lately with wins in 10 of their last 13 games. They now sit half a game out of first place in the American League East and if they somehow make the playoffs, Major League Baseball will have a schedule and host stadium dilemma on their hands. The Rays visit Baltimore, who they split a four game series with last weekend. In one of those games, Tampa starter Ryan Pepiot pitched eight innings of one run ball and struck out 11. His opponent tonight, Tomoyuki Sugano hasn't made it out of the fifth inning in three consecutive starts. In addition to the Rays winning, I like Brandon Lowe to continue his recent hot streak. He's in the midst of a 13 game hitting streak and is over this H+R+RBI total in 10 of 13 games. Look for Lowe to be a key cog in another successful performance by his team tonight.
