MLB parlay picks for June 26: SportsLine expert offers his picks, predictions for Thursday's games

Eric Cohen offers a four-leg MLB Same Game Parlay Plus for the games on Thursday, June 26th

ByCohensCornerAZUpdated: Jun 26, 2025 4:51AM UTC . 2 min read

Another 3 of 4 day on here yesterday which means we came up short for the second consecutive day. But that loss pales in comparison to the other parlay I gave out on CBSSports.com yesterday. It was a five leg SGP all involving the Mets. Four of the legs hit easily and all I needed was a Francisco Lindor hit or run in the 8th inning to win. Of course Michael Harris of the Braves had to go over the wall to rob Lindor of a home run. My +600 bet and the subsequent winnings were gone in a flash. They say you always remember the worst losses over the best wins. This I can personally attest to... But we're here to bounce back with only nine games on the Thursday, eight of them being played in the afternoon.

Thursday, June 26th MLB SGPx

  • Jeffrey Springs Over 17.5 Outs + Brent Rooker 2+ H+R+RBI
  • Shane Baz 3+ Earned Runs Allowed + Michael Lorenzen 3+ Earned Runs Allowed
  • SGPx odds: +699 (odds subject to change)

Jeffrey Springs Over 17.5 Outs + Brent Rooker 2+ H+R+RBI

Don't look now but Jeffrey Springs has been pretty good lately for the Athletics. In his last 11 starts, he's pitched at least six innings 9 times. Though the Tigers might be a tricky matchup, current Detroit players are only 4 of 24 lifetime vs. Springs (.167 average) with nine strikeouts. I expect him to perform well as fellow A's starter Jacob Lopez did at Comerica Park on Wednesday. I don't know who the heck Dietrich Enns is for the Tigers, but he hasn't pitched in the majors since 2021 and I'm not expecting good things on Thursday. Brent Rooker is having another All-Star caliber season for the Athletics and is over this hits + runs + RBIs total in 14 of 23 games this month. I expect him to find success against the left-hander Enns and wouldn't mind sprinkling a home run bet either.
