MLB parlay picks for June 18: SportsLine expert offers his picks, predictions for Wednesday's games
Eric Cohen offers a four-leg MLB Same Game Parlay Plus for Wednesday, June 18th
Hitting 3 of 4 in my Tuesday night parlay stings. How did the Nationals lose to the Rockies twice in a row? What a disappointment to say the least! But we have a chance to bounce back on Wednesday night with 14 games to choose from (I'll pass on Red Sox-Mariners which starts at 4:10 p.m. ET). The goal as always is to put together a four-leg Same Game Parlay Plus, with two legs each from two different games.
Wednesday, June 18th MLB SGPx
- Phillies ML + Max Kepler 2+ H+R+RBI
- Ketel Marte 2+ H+R+RBI + Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 2+ H+R+RBI
- SGPx odds: +459 (odds subject to change)
The Phillies surprisingly lost 8-3 to the Marlins on Tuesday night but I expect them to turn things around on Wednesday with Ranger Suarez on the hill. He's 5-1 overall this season with a 2.32 ERA, including a 0.87 ERA on the road in 20.2 innings pitched. Against him is Adam Mazur, making his debut in the big leagues this season. Last year, Mazur had a 7.49 ERA in 33.2 innings pitched and fared especially poorly against lefties, allowing them to hit .329 in 73 at bats. Max Kepler hit cleanup on Tuesday night, going 1 for 4 but snapping his six game streak of going over this H+R+RBI line. I expect him to get back on track in a big way, with Philadelphia winning their second game of this week's series in Miami.
