If you're like me, you didn't take the last few days off from betting sports. Sure, they were the two most dead days on the sports calendar but at least we had the NBA Summer League! Seriously, how did we do it during COVID? Some league needs to take advantage of those two empty days on the sports calendar before the MLB second half resumes. But fortunately Friday is the day we've been waiting for (at least this week). Every MLB team is back in action and it's time to see whether I can start the second half off on a good note with a winning four pick parlay!

The White Sox are 11-36 on the road, while surprisingly the Pirates are 26-21 at home. Bailey Falter, who is starting for the Buccos, is 5-1 at home with an ERA more than a full run lower at PNC Park. Meanwhile, White Sox starter Jonathan Cannon is 2-6 on the road with a 4.97 ERA. Pittsburgh on the moneyline feels fairly safe with those statistics. For a player prop, let's ride the hot bat of Tommy Pham, who is 9 of 24 (.375 average) with two home runs in the last 14 days. He's showcasing himself to be traded in the next couple weeks so look for him to continue his solid recent play with another fine performance.
