MLB parlay picks for July 11: SportsLine expert offers his picks, predictions for Friday's games
Eric Cohen offers a four-leg MLB Same Game Parlay Plus for the games on Friday, July 11th
This is our last chance to get back on the winning track before the All-Star Break. Even with a rainout for half of the parlay on Thursday, Miles Mikolas decided to pitch like Paul Skenes and make the Nationals look silly. But we'll take our chances with a pair of NL Central teams and players on Friday night.
Friday, July 11th MLB SGPx
- Chase Burns 6+ Strikeouts + T.J. Friedl 2+ H+R+RBI (+148)
- Brewers ML + Jackson Chourio 2+ Total Bases (+158)
- SGPx odds: +539 (odds subject to change)
Chase Burns 6+ Strikeouts + T.J. Friedl 2+ H+R+RBI
One of the top pitching prospects in the game, Burns has made only three starts, having struck out eight Yankees in his debut and seven Phillies in his last outing (we'll ignore the dreadful performance against the Red Sox in the middle). The Rockies are by far the worst team in the league and have the second most team strikeouts in the league. I would consider the Burns ladder up to nine on Friday night. Meanwhile, the leadoff hitter for Cincinnati, Friedl, is 2-for-3 with two home runs against Rockies starter German Marquez. He is over this total in 4 of 7 starts this month and should feast on Marquez and Colorado's awful bullpen.
