The first of two editions of El Trafico during the 2022 Major League Soccer season takes place Saturday as the LA Galaxy host the Los Angeles FC. The Galaxy (3-0-2), who lead the all-time series with a 5-5-3 record, are coming off a 3-1 victory against Portland last Sunday. The LAFC (4-1-0) lead the Western Conference with 13 points following its 4-2 triumph over Orlando City SC a week ago.

Kickoff at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif. is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Caesars Sportsbook lists both sides at +155 (risk $100 to win $155) on the 90-minute money line in its latest LA Galaxy vs. LAFC odds. A draw is priced at +270 and the over-under for total goals scored is 2.5, with the over juiced to -170.

Before you lock in any LAFC vs. LA Galaxy picks, you HAVE TO see what SportsLine soccer insider Brandt Sutton has to say.

Sutton, a former collegiate soccer player, has been SportsLine's top soccer editor for nearly five years. He has followed soccer closely for much longer and factors in managerial tactics, projected lineups and past performances to make the most-informed decisions possible, keeping his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe. Sutton also has been on a roll with his best bets, going 11-3 in his last 14 soccer picks, returning over $600 for $100 bettors during that span.

The expert knows the Galaxy had the upper hand against LAFC last season, posting a 2-1 victory in the first of their three meetings while the other two ended in draws. Chicharito led the team in 2021 with 17 goals, including one in the Galaxy's triumph over LAFC. The 33-year-old Mexican striker has netted four of the squad's seven tallies this year after recording a pair against the Timbers last weekend.

Sutton also is aware that LAFC has had eight different players score a goal this season, and that's not including Cristian Arango, who led the team with 14 in 17 matches last season. The 27-year-old forward has yet to tally in five games in 2022, but Carlos Vela has notched a club-high four goals in five contests. The 33-year-old Mexican winger is one goal shy of matching his total in 20 matches last year.

Sutton has taken a close look at LA Galaxy vs. LAFC from all sides and locked in his best bets. We can tell you he's going Over on the goal total, and he's also locked in another CONFIDENT best bet and offers a full breakdown of this MLS matchup! You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks and analysis before making any selections of your own.
