My objective this season is to complete a pretty deep dive from a game standpoint very early in the week, and have this spot focus more on player props and getting a jump on the Sunday Night and Monday Night games.

As noted in my previous column this week, I'm aiming to be a little judicious here early on, with so much uncertainty around the league and the inevitability of so much being altered from a year ago. But there is a theme here, in certain truisms from 2023 that I strongly believe will carry over into 2024 -- at least to start. Certain elements seem so intertwined with their team's very identity that I don't see head coaches wanting to deviate too much, and these teams happen to be facing opponents that should be fairly conducive to them executing that plan.
