While quarterback is undoubtedly the most important position on NFL teams, the value of signal callers in fantasy football largely depends on league settings and manager preferences. Even so, the position is still a vital component in league-winning lineups.

Below, we'll discuss our preferred strategies for drafting quarterbacks in fantasy football for the 2025 season. The strategies will be primarily aimed at full points-per-reception (PPR) or half-PPR (0.5), 12-team leagues since these are the most popular redraft formats, though we'll add thoughts for Superflex and 2QB leagues.
