Best bets for Friday, June 13
The Pacers pulled off another stunning comeback in Game 1, capped off by Tyrese Haliburton's go-ahead jumper with less than a second remaining. The Thunder rebounded in Game 2 with a 123-107 win before Indiana won at home 116-117 on Wednesday thanks in large part to Bennedict Mathurin scoring 27 points off the bench to lead all Pacers in scoring. Game 4 remains in Indiana, where the Pacers can take a commanding 3-1 series lead. The SportsLine Projection Model has the Pacers winning Game 4 in 44% of simulations, bringing value at Indiana's +188 money-line odds compared to OKC at -228. The model has a few 4-star player props, and an interesting one is Haliburton to go Over 1.5 total steals at +148.Â
A heated West Coast rivalry resumes Friday when the Dodgers host the Giants in a key NL West showdown. This game features a stellar pitching matchup as San Francisco sends Logan Webb (5-5, 2.58 ERA) to the mound whole Los Angeles counters with Yoshinobu Yamamoto (6-4, 2.20 ERA). Despite being well over two months into the season, this is the first time these two rivals have faced off in 2025. The model has the total of 7.5 runs going Over in just under 60% of simulations.Â
The 2025 U.S. Open continues Friday from Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. J.J. Spaun was the big winner on Day 1, shooting a -4 round of 66 to take an early solo lead. As for some of the big names, Scottie Scheffler shot +3, as did Bryson DeChambeau. Rory McIlroy shot +4. Jon Rahm shot -1 and is now the favorite at Fanatics Sportsbook at +550. Scheffler is second still at +650 and Brooks Koepka, a two-time U.S. Open winner, is +1200 after shooting -2. Spaun is also +1200, Collin Morikawa is +1400 after shooting even par, DeChambeau is +1600 and Si Woo Kim, who is -2, is +2000.
