Early Week 5 Fantasy Football waiver wire: How to replace Malik Nabers and what we're doing with Woody Marks
Here's how you should set bids on more than 40 players worth rostering
After the quarterback position lost a star in Week 2 in Joe Burrow and the running back position was hit hard in Week 3, this past Sunday brought a major injury at receiver with Giants star Malik Nabers suffering a torn ACL. The injury is more severe in Fantasy football than those that came before, as Nabers was generally a first-round pick in drafts with all three CBS Sports experts ranking him in the top 10 in PPR formats. As such, Nabers isn't easy to replace, but there will be teams that invested in the young star who make the playoffs due to smart trades and key waiver pickups.
We're here to help with the latter and share our list of players worth submitting waiver claims to get in Week 5. Last week, we put Hunter Henry near the top of our list and the Patriots tight end caught another touchdown against the Panthers. We also had Romeo Doubs as our top Packers receiver to target ahead of a plus matchup with Dallas and he hauled in a career-high three scores. Now we look ahead to the best pickups for both short term and long term help, and we'll list FAB bids for all of them below.
Our waiver wire list features how much we're bidding on more than 40 other players at quarterback, running back, receiver and tight end. Let's dig in.
