Early Week 16 Fantasy Football waiver wire: RBs worth targeting, a matchup that could decide titles and more
Here's how you should set bids on the top quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and tight ends worth picking up
Joe Burrow was a popular waiver add a few weeks ago when his months-long absence was expected to soon come to an end, and it's no stretch to imagine that he helped many teams get into the playoffs with good to great performances in Baltimore and Buffalo the last two weeks. But at home against that same Ravens team, Burrow laid a dud that saw him score the fewest points of any widely started quarterback with 225 passing yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
But at least he scored something. Those who stuck Rome Odunze in their starting lineups once he avoided the inactive list 90 minutes before kick were shocked to see him ruled out due to a pregame injury once the action started. I unfortunately had one playoff team hit by both the Odunze zero and the Burrow dud that is going to be eliminated unless De'Von Achane has a 50-point performance in him, but I should be on to the semifinals in my other three leagues, which means it's time to starting making some waiver claims.
Below, we'll cover more than 30 players at quarterback, running back, receiver, tight end and defense/special teams.
