Early Week 13 Fantasy Football waiver wire: Devin Neal set to feature for Saints, among 30 pickups to consider

Last week, we made big plays on Emanuel Wilson and Kenneth Gainwell, figuring they could have monster performances during a week of tough byes if the starters on their teams missed the week. Wilson's FAB price was twice of Gainwell's as it seemed likely Josh Jacobs would be out, while Jaylen Warren was more up in the air.

Jacobs did miss the game against the Vikings and as a result of Minnesota's offensive ineptitude, Wilson wound up with 28 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns, along with two receptions for 18 yards. That's enough to swing a matchup, already making him worth the investment and we'll see if he can have another big role Thursday with Green Bay on the short week, though all signs point to Jacobs making his return.

Gainwell did have to contend with Warren playing, but he still led the team with 92 rushing yards and six receptions. Again, it was a performance well worth his FAB price but unlike Wilson, he could remain a flex option most weeks in PPR leagues as more of a committee backfield in the Pittsburgh offense.

Another RB injury in Week 12 brings the potential for a waiver wire target who could have an impact with Alvin Kamara straining his MCL in the loss to the Falcons. He should miss at least one week, so Devin Neal is set to be a popular target on the waiver wire.
