Dolphins vs. Steelers betting preview: Odds, picks, props, trends, injuries, weather and more for Week 15 Monday Night Football
Before you lock in your plays for Monday's Miami at Pittsburgh NFL Week 15 game, check out our full betting preview.
It's potentially the last Monday Night Football game in the legendary career of future first-ballot Hall of Famer and four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers as his AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) host the Miami Dolphins (6-7) to conclude Week 15. It's also important in the AFC playoff race with the Steelers at -3 and a total of 42.5 for the 8:15 ET kick on ESPN.
Assuming Rodgers retires after this season at age 42, which I think is a safe assumption considering his play has declined quite a bit and he is on a one-year contract, then this will be his last MNF game unless Pittsburgh makes the playoffs and gets that one MNF spot in the wild card round.
Whether it's the last MNF game for coach Mike Tomlin is another story. He was under major fire until the Steelers were 27-22 upset winners in Baltimore in Week 14 to snap a two-game skid and retake control of the AFC North. One book actually offered odds entering Week 15 on the futures of Tomlin and coach John Harbaugh with the Ravens. That both are back in 2026 is -300. Neither was +600 with Harbaugh back only at +300 and Tomlin back only +525. We know Tomlin won't be leaving for the Penn State job as we mentioned when looking at the Steelers in Week 14. How about Michigan?
As for winning the division, the Steelers were -170 favorites at DraftKings last week but now +105 after Baltimore won in Cincinnati on Sunday, with Pittsburgh hosting the Ravens in the regular-season finale -- which might be Rodgers' last Sunday night game. It's pretty much division title or bust for Pittsburgh in terms of extra football and entering Week 15, the SportsLine Projection Model gave the Steelers a 73.5% shot (equates to -277) at the North title that rises to 79.2% with a win and drops to 62.2% with a loss. They better win tonight with trips to Detroit (likely loss) and Cleveland up next before that Baltimore finale.Â
Miami turned around its season following an embarrassing 28-6 home loss to the Ravens on Thursday night in Week 9 to fall to 2-7. General manager Chris Grier was fired shortly after, but in a minor surprise coach Mike McDaniel was kept. And he might be keeping his job for 2026 with this four-game winning streak to keep some slim playoff hopes alive -- although a new GM probably will be given the leeway to hire his own coach or not.Â
The model gives the Fins just a 0.1% shot at the postseason that rises to 0.3% with a win. DK lists them at +10000 without a No option. Pretty much every game went against the Fins on Sunday regarding their slim chances and they would be eliminated now with a loss. To get in, they must win out and have at least two of the following three happen: Bills lose out; Texans lose out; and Colts losing at least two of their final three. Short of major injury, I see no chance that Buffalo and Houston lose out.Â
