A pair of 2024 NFC playoff teams that won impressively at home in Week 1 face off in the first Prime Video Thursday Night Football of the 2025 campaign as the Washington Commanders visit the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are -3.5 with a total of 48 for the typical 8:15 kick. It's the first-ever meeting between the franchises on TNF.

Washington's six-game regular-season winning streak is the franchise's longest since seven in a row in 2012. That's tied for the longest active streak with Cincinnati. The Bengals' streak likely reaches seven on Sunday vs. Jacksonville. The Commanders are looking for a third straight road win for the first time since four in a row in 2022. Jayden Daniels keeps his teams in games no matter what. In the 2023 Heisman winner's NFL debut in Week 1 last year, the Commanders were routed 37-20 in Tampa. Washington hasn't lost by multiple possessions in the regular season since.

This marks only the second time the Packers will play on a Thursday night in Week 2 (2012 vs. Chicago) and it's first the primetime game against Washington at Lambeau Field since a Monday Night Football matchup on Sept. 24, 2001. It also will be the first time since 2018 that Green Bay will play its first two at home. Four of the team's next five are away.
