Commanders vs. Eagles Monday NFL Week 10 odds, trends: Bettors mixed on spread, heavy on AJ Brown for touchdown
Washington visits Philadelphia tonight to conclude Week 10.
The Philadelphia Eagles are the NFL's lone unbeaten team and +900 to complete the first 17-0 regular season in league history (-2000 to fail) as they host the Washington Commanders on Monday to conclude Week 10. Philadelphia is an 11-point favorite at BetMGM. Bettors are largely mixed on the spread but crushing Eagles receiver AJ Brown on the player props. Since 2003, double-digit favorites on Monday Night Football have gone 13-27-2 (33%) against the spread. Click here for model picks.
As of this writing, 46% of bets and 50% of the money are on the Eagles ATS. However, Washington at +400 on the moneyline is taking 67% of the bets and 59% of the money. The total has dropped from an open of 44.5 to 43.5, and 56% of the bets and 61% of the money are on the Under.
The Eagles beat the Commanders on the road in Week 3, 24-8, scoring all their points in the second quarter. Jalen Hurts threw for 340 yards and three scores, with Brown catching one of those touchdowns and finishing with five grabs for 85 yards. The three most-wagered player props tonight are on Brown: +600 to score the game's first touchdown, -105 to score an anytime TD and Over 71.5 receiving yards (-110). Brown has six receiving TDs on the year and at least one in three straight games.
Carson Wentz was the Washington quarterback in the first meeting but remains out injured, so it's Taylor Heinicke again tonight. He will have rookie receiver Jahan Dotson available. The first-round pick was among the Offensive Rookie of the Year betting favorites early on but has missed the past five games with a hamstring injury. Dotson has been activated. The Commanders won't have former NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Chase Young, however. Young, who has been recovering from a knee injury, returned to practice last week but hasn't been activated from IR.
The Eagles are without cornerbacks Avonte Maddox and Josh Jobe. Philadelphia only has three giveaways this season, the fewest in the first eight games of a season in team history.
