The Dodgers are coming off a series win over the New York Yankees in a rematch of the 2024 World Series and will now face the other Big Apple franchise in a four-game set. The Mets have won three in a row to move to the top of the NL East, while the Dodgers hold a slim lead over the San Diego Padres in the NL West. Los Angeles will send Dustin May to the mound in the first game of this 2024 NLCS rematch while New York will counter with Paul Blackburn, who makes his return after a stint on the 15-day IL. Los Angeles is a -165 favorite (wager $165 to win $100) and the model is backing the Dodgers, as they win in 60% of simulations to bring value at these odds. The model also rates Juan Soto Over 0.5 Total Bases as a 5-star play.
Even though the Boston Red Sox have lost six of their last eight games, the SportsLine Projection Model likes them to come out on top against the Los Angeles Angels. The Red Sox are -154 favorites (wager $154 to win $100) on the money line and the model sees them winning in 67% of its simulations.
The Padres have won five of their last seven games as they begin a critical NL West series against the San Francisco Giants Monday. The Padres are just two games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the division, while the Giants are three games back. San Francisco is a -177 favorite (wager $177 to win $100) on the money line but the model is backing the road underdogs here. The Padres, who are +148 on the money line (wager $100 to win $148), win in 45% of simulations to bring value at these odds.
Sinner is a huge -2000 favorite over Rublev in the fourth round of the French Open, but there could be some value when looking at exact result bets. Sinner is -185 to win in straight sets and +275 to win 3-1. The top-ranked Italian has taken all his matches in straight sets so far in this tournament, and Rublev is coming off a walkover against Arthur Fils. It may be best to back Sinner to win 3-0 if you're looking for value out of this match.
