ByUpdated: Jun 13, 2025 2:39PM UTC . 6 min read

Bettors have the NBA Finals and 15 MLB games to choose from on Friday, June 13. In the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder try to even the series on the road against the Indiana Pacers, while MLB features the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees renewing one of sport's best rivalries.

We highlight the top betting opportunities with links to full game analysis and picks throughout the article while providing the top betting tips for today's matchups.

There is also a link to the best sportsbook promotion today from Fanatics Sportsbook. Fanatics offers players up to $1,000 in "No Sweat Bets" over their first 10 days with the platform. See more about the promotion below.

Best NBA bets today

Oklahoma City Thunder (-6, 225.5) at Indiana Pacers: 8:30 p.m. ET

The Thunder were heavily favored to beat Indiana in the NBA Finals, but the Pacers aren't making it easy. Indiana prevailed at home in Game 2 and are one win away from putting the Thunder on the brink heading back to Oklahoma City.

OKC certainly isn't panicking, though. The Thunder aren't quite as dominant away from home but still went an impressive 36-12 on the road this season. Oklahoma City lost back-to-back games only twice during the regular season and has yet to do it in the playoffs.

The Thunder need to do a better job closing out games moving forward. In the Pacers' two wins, they have outscored OKC 67-43 in the fourth quarter. While the Thunder are still the favorites to win the series, Indiana is 5-3 in its last eight games against Oklahoma City.

Best MLB bets today

New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox (-140, 8.5): 7:10 p.m. ET

The Yankees and Red Sox square off for the first of three games on Friday. Boston took two of three from the Yankees last week in games that totaled 18, 17 and 15 runs.

Boston starter Garrett Crochet is hoping for a better performance than his last time out against New York, when he allowed 5 runs over 6.0 innings, although the Red Sox went on to win the game 11-7. Prior to that poor outing, Crochet allowed two runs or less in seven straight starts.

The Yankees turn to Ryan Yarbrough. Yarbrough took the loss vs. Crochet on June 7 when he allowed a season-high eight runs in just 4.0 innings of work. Before getting lit up by Boston, Yarbrough allowed just six runs in his previous five starts.

San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers (-168, 7.5): 10:10 p.m. ET

The Giants have been one of the biggest surprises in baseball through the first two and a half months of the season. Despite being picked to finish near the bottom of the NL West, San Francisco sits only a game behind the mighty Dodgers in mid-June.

Logan Webb gets the call for the Giants on Friday. Webb has allowed just two runs in his last two outings, although San Francisco split those games. The right-hander could be in for another strong effort on Friday. Current Dodgers are hitting only .195 against Webb in 113 career at-bats.

It could be a pitcher's duel with Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound for Los Angeles. The Cy Young candidate has allowed two runs or fewer in nine of 13 starts this season. Despite his dominance, the Dodgers are a pedestrian 8-5 in Yamamoto's starts and have lost back-to-back games to the Yankees and Cardinals.
