The Yankees will be looking for the sweep at home on Thursday after defeating Seattle in the first two games by a combined score of 19-9. New York has owned the Mariners recently, winning eight of the last 10 meetings.

The Yankees counter with Marcus Stroman. The veteran has struggled this season with a 7.45 ERA in five starts. Stroman hasn't gone past 5.0 innings in any of his starts, so expect New York's bullpen to play a key role in this game.

Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Red Sox (-112, 9): 7:10 p.m. ET

Tampa Bay and Boston kick off their four-game series on Thursday. The Red Sox have gotten the better of their division rival lately, winning four of the last five meetings. 

Taj Bradley will be on the hill for Tampa Bay. The 24-year-old has been hit or miss this season. Bradley has allowed three runs or less in 11 starts but at least four runs in his other seven. The Rays record when Bradley is on the mound mimics his performance. Tampa Bay is 9-9 in games he starts this season. 

The Red Sox turn to Walker Buehler. The veteran has struggled this year, but is coming off one of his better outings against Washington in a 10-3 Boston victory. Even with that win, the Red Sox are just 2-6 in Buehler's last eight starts.
