The New York Knicks and Dallas Stars will both try to even their conference final series away from home on Tuesday night. In the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals, the Knicks stormed back to claim Game 3 in Indiana after the Pacers won the first two contests at Madison Square Garden. In the NHL's Western Conference Final, the Stars have lost two games in a row to the Edmonton Oilers, and now have to scrap for a series tie north of the border. And of course, Tuesday brings a full 15-game MLB slate.

Best NBA bets today

New York Knicks at Indiana Pacers (-2.5, 220.5): 8:00 p.m. ET

The Knicks were down 0-2 in the series and trailed Indiana by 10 after three quarters in Game 3. However, New York saved its season by outscoring the Pacers 36-20 in the fourth quarter to get back into the series. 

The Knicks were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who finished with 24 points (20 in the fourth quarter) and 15 rebounds. It was the third time this postseason that New York trailed by 20 and stormed back to win. 

While the Pacers must be kicking themselves for letting Game 3 slip away, they are still up 2-1 and will be at home again on Tuesday. Indiana could be short-handed in Game 4, though. Forward Aaron Nesmith sprained his ankle in the third quarter of Game 3 and is questionable for Tuesday. Nesmith is averaging 16.7 points in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Best NHL bets today

Dallas Stars at Edmonton Oilers (-155, 6.5): 8:00 p.m. ET

The Oilers were cruising in Game 1 of the series with a 3-1 lead heading into the third period. Then the Stars scored five unanswered goals to steal the win. Outside of that one 20-minute stretch, though, it's been all Edmonton. The Oilers controlled the other eight periods of the series, outscoring Dallas 12-2. 

If the Stars hope to even the series on Tuesday, they need to get Mikko Rantanen and Wyatt Johnston rolling again. Both players have gone six straight games without a goal. Dallas also has to figure out Stuart Skinner. Edmonton's goaltender has been inconsistent in the playoffs but is playing well lately, stopping 58 of 59 shots over the last two games.

Best MLB bets today

Atlanta Braves at Philadelphia Phillies (-110, 8.5): 6:45 p.m. ET

Two teams fighting for the NL East title battle on Tuesday when the Braves travel to Philadelphia. The Phillies had won nine straight before falling to the A's on Sunday. Meanwhile, Atlanta is now just two games below .500 after an awful first month of the season. 

The Braves turn to Spencer Strider on Tuesday. The 26-year-old has lost both of his starts this season, allowing 11 hits and six runs in 9.1 innings of work. This will be Strider's third straight start on the road.

The Phillies counter with left-hander Ranger Suarez. Suarez has been excellent in his last three outings, giving up just three runs over 20.2 innings with 17 strikeouts.
