Kentucky Derby third place finisher Baeza will try to finally earn his breakthrough victory when he leaves the starting gate in the 2025 Pennsylvania Derby on Saturday at Parx Racing outside of Philadelphia. Trained by John Shirreffs, Baeza has one win in seven career starts, but he has been beaten by either Sovereignty or Journalism or both in each of his last four starts. For Saturday Baeza has been installed as the 2-1 favorite in the 2025 Pennsylvania Derby odds.
