The second round of the 2025 Open Championship concluded on Friday, setting the table for an exciting weekend at Royal Portrush with some big names in contention. Scottie Scheffler shot a second-round 64 on Friday to move into solo first at 10 under, one shot better than Matt Fitzpatrick. Brian Harman and HaoTong Li are two shots back at 8 under, with nobody else in the field better than 5 under.
