2025 NFL win total best bets: Packers among top expert picks after Micah Parsons trade
Our experts have best bets on 17 different teams and are split on the Bears, Raiders, Giants and Jets.
With the start of the NFL season right around the corner, we asked our SportsLine experts to share their top three win total picks for 2025. More than half the league was covered in some form or fashion, with the most popular pick receiving four Over plays and no Unders. As well, four teams saw experts pick different sides of their win total: the Bears, Raiders, Giants and Jets.
However, the biggest news in football this week was the Cowboys trading Micah Parsons to the Packers for two first-round picks and Kenny Clark. I've been one of the highest experts on the Packers all offseason, taking them at +2000 to win the Super Bowl as my first offseason bet back in February. I loved them going Over 9.5 wins before the trade, and I'd take them at Over 10.5 wins at plus odds after the trade. I see the Packers as the team with the fewest questions in what might be the best division in football, and now they've added Parsons to a defense that was sixth in scoring and fifth in yards allowed last year. I thought matching last year's 11 wins was always a reasonable expectation with their talent and continuity, and now I think they have a great shot of earning the No. 1 seed.
We have plenty more from our group of experts, which includes Hunt, Larry Hartstein, R.J. White, Eric Cohen, Brady Kannon, Bob Konarski, Jeff Hochman, Zack Cimini, Josh Nagel, Thomas Casale and Matt Severance. Check out everyone's three best win total bets below.
