We rank our top 10 Offensive Player of the Year bets in the market and highlight three sleepers worth a look

Saquon Barkley was not among our top options for Offensive Player of the Year betting last season, as we concluded the presence of Jalen Hurts would keep his touchdown total in check. Maybe it did, as Hurts scored 14 times, but it didn't matter -- Barkley averaged 125.3 rushing yards per game en route to a 2,005-yard season, putting him on pace to break the single-season rushing record before sitting out Week 18 with the team's playoff seeding secure. He had 15 total touchdowns, matching the output from his incredible rookie season back in 2018.

If defenses haven't figured out a way to slow down the Eagles' rushing attack, there's a chance Barkley repeats as Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2025. But it's worth noting he touched the ball 482 times last year between the regular season and playoffs, which is tied for the 10th most ever and makes Barkley only the second player since 2000 to receive at least 480 touches in a year. The other, Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray in 2014, saw more than 50% fewer touches the following season after pulling a Saquon and leaving an NFC East rival to join Eagles. Ten years later, will Barkley prove he can hold up to the massive workload once again?

Running backs have won the Offensive Player of the Year award the last two seasons following back-to-back wins by receivers in 2021-22. Prior to 2019, the only receiver to ever win this award was Jerry Rice (twice), but modern NFL offenses have expanded the player pool of potential candidates to include the elite pass-catchers. The last quarterback to win the award was Patrick Mahomes, who double-dipped with this award and MVP in 2018 as three other QBs did in the 2010s, while Drew Brees back in was the last QB to win Offensive Player of the Year without winning MVP. Factoring all that in, here's who we're eyeing for Offensive Player of the Year best bets in 2025.
